Not sure heredia provides any upgrade over Harris. Even versus a lefty. My concern is that Ozuna has been exiled and is just wasting a roster spot. Either play him some or cut him.
 
You guys may want to dig into Harris’ stats vs LHP a bit deeper. Here’s a hint: that .400 BABIP is about as likely to continue as an Ozuna hitting streak.

Fact of the matter is Harris .260 xwOBA vs LHP is dreadful, and suggests he is unlikely to have much success vs LHP for the rest of 2022. I understand some folks around here allow themselves to continue being fooled by small sample BABIPs of .400+, but I’m hoping the Braves FO is smarter than that and starts pushing for Heredia to take some of those PAs from Harris.

Additionally, this narrative that Harris is elite in CF while Heredia is chopped liver out there is also not grounded in reality.

The chances of you getting your desired platoon are basically the same as me getting iglesias switched with Jansen, nil.
 
I can’t believe there is anyone actually supporting Heradia as a platoon guy. He is done. He hasn’t been above average versus lefty since before 2019. I will take my chance with the kid learning on the job versus lefties over sword swinger who sucks. Sorry. Can’t buy into gilmo being an option over Harris. EVER.
 
I would be extremely cautious with Acuna also. With that said, he seems to be an injury waiting to happen
 
Hopefully not too many of you killed yourself last night after the Cardinals ended our season.

Rockies just shut out the Mets.
