It's not because they agree with it. I don't think the seals on this board actually do.

But once they criticize it, they are acknowledging that it's true.

And once they acknowledge it's true, they would have to justify a single policy from the GOP that is worse than mutilating children.

And once they can't identify something worse, they could not justify supporting the left over this.

So instead they bury their head in the sand... Pretend this isn't happening, while children are getting mutilated from our medical institutions with tax payer support and democratic enablement.

I think this is right. Similar to abortion where the overwhelming consensus among the pro-choice is to regulate to procedure past the first trimester. However, no discussion is allowed to be had because your either a murderer or misogynist fascist.

Is there anyone on this board that supports gender affirming surgery on minors? I have yet to see it yet whenever the topic is broached. It’s sad that this discussion has to be associated with transphobia.
