GDT 9/1/22: Braves vs Rockies - September Callups

The current matchup would be the Phillies and I'm 100% ok with that. We are quite a bit better than them.

Bad news is anything can happen in a 3-game series. Good news is we'll get the Dodgers in a 5-game series instead of 7.

We're better than the Mets and Cardinals so I feel confident against them in a 7-game series. We're not better than the Dodgers, so good we would get them in a best of 5.

Would hate the idea of Harper going ballistic for a week and carrying them to a series victory.

Never know - With Trouts injury scares Harper may end being better overall career!

Trout could retire today and I think the odds are still long that Harper would pass him in WAR. (Also - Harper is starting to pile up his own list of injuries the past few years).

I do like Harper quite a bit though.
