You don't think he coulda played in one of these 3 guys' place since he returned on sept 1? Arcia has not played the whole month until he pitched tonight

Olson down to 2.2 fWAR. His worst 2 years are 2020 and 2022; pretty concerning that he's had his worst 2 years two out of the last 3.
 
I do. But you need to take a couple days. This team ****ting itself in Philadelphia was as predictable as the sun rising and setting. I have skipped the last two games.

I'm watching CFB and the saints tomorrow, so I am. I will still watch at bat to keep up though... i never take full games off. Hell, I probably haven't missed watching/listening/live stats of 2 full innings in a row in 5 years. I'm a brave fanatic

I keep apprised of the situation every game but it was obvious against Washington we were about to go in the dumps offensively. I say again this team already blew its chance to win the division when they couldn’t close out the comeback against Seattle, screwed around in San Francisco and then screwed up that last Nats game in Atlanta while damn near blowing another one. There was no point watching last night’s game with that pitching matchup in that environment. Their last chance to win the division is winning these last two in Philadelphia, taking care of thr Nats and sweeping the Mets. Ain’t happening. Get ready for the Wild Card series. There will be plenty of pitch by pitch stress then.
 
Albies going down again really hurt bc they’ve exploited Grissom and he’s having trouble adjusting. They need to give Arcia a couple of games over there this weekend. Olson needs a game or 2 off also. Dansby looking like the old Dansby.

Arcia can play every infield position. He should be in the lineup close to every day at this point helping relieve one of the infielders.

And I don’t hate it. Like you said as long as the Mets don’t celebrate on our field I don’t care. We have the top WC spot and we are still in the playoffs
