I was hoping Riley or Swanson would be off today. Let Arcia play everyday as well as Ozuna. Both those guys should be getting regular ABs before the playoffs get here
Kind of amazing when you think about it that we are going to win ~100 games and yet:
--Acuna season has been a total health and performance roller-coaster
--Albies has missed most of the season
--Olson basically been half the WAR player we were budgeting
--Left field for most of year a total hole
--Ozuna a bust at DH
--So basically 5 out of 9 position slots a big disappointment. Of course Riley, Harris, Swanson and Catcher spot have been major bright spots, but just speaks to the depth that we will win 100 games and over half our line-up has been a disappointment this year.
Even from a pen standpoint, Jansen below expectations, Matzek a shell of himself, Jackson misses entire season, Will Smith loses it, Yates ends up giving us nothing.
It helps when 4 of 5 days we've been running out great pitching.

Wrong. It’s far better to run them into the ground, watch them struggle for weeks, and then bench them for multiple games. Then hope they can ramp back up in time for the playoffs.

Really unexpected performances from Strider, Harris, and Grissom. d'Arnaud with a huge season as well. Bullpen has been good even with the uneven performances (or no performances) from some guys.
