GDT 10/12/22: Braves vs Philthies - NLDS Game 2

The breakout of Kyle Wright might be the biggest thing to happen to this club this year.

Many huge things:

Kyle Wright’s emergence

Harris

Strider

Iglesias addition

And we still have to talk about Swanson and Riley’s monster seasons.

Everybody seems to be mad at Olsen but didn’t he lead the league in XBHs?

Things went extremely well for us, but I also wouldn’t call it luck. We have a plan and are executing that plan at a high level. This team is just oozing with chemistry and the culture is set from the top down. This is what a winning franchise looks like.

I’d be real wary of having to use Max again until he pumps the gun back to where he was.

Nothing against him but it was obvious he was still a little zapped

Feel like if he’s healthy you go Strider game 3. Fully rested bullpen to save him if he gets in early trouble and you know as it loves the idea of Morton’s veteran lairdership if someone needs to start a game down 2-1.

Strider/McHugh/Lee to get you six innings in game 3 seems like the way to go.

Allows Strider to pitch out of the bullpen in a potential game 5.

Strider for an extended opener feels like the move for Game 3. But we'll see what they decide to do.

I know there was lots of talk about Ronald not being clutch much during the regular season but Ronald is a stud in postseaon baseball.
Also Olson saved his best for last.
Great win.
Gotta start Strider right?
If he’s on much better chance to match zero’s with Nola more so then Charlie who I hate pitching in the bandbox in Philly.
