2022 Elections

I think this performance can not be spun any way other than a disaster for the GOP... More importantly trump.

For as awful as Biden is (that is not my imagination... That is what every poll in the country says)... This was truly awful.

Meanwhile the GOP won the popular vote. But the vote was very bifurcated based on certain factors...

The only silver lining I can see is that the GOP won't be blamed for the incoming economic disaster and hopefully the GOP realizes what a liability trump is

By the way... I liked masters a lot. Wish he would have won bc he was a pretty big libertarian but unfortunately had the trump anchor on him

My 216 vs 216 projection I incorrectly thought the 3 open seats were going to be special elections later. They are not. Reps won 2 and Dems won 1 of those seats. So to update I think the split will be 217 D and 218 R. 217 seems like the max Dems can hope for with 216 D and 219 R also being a strong possibility.

One of the open seats that went Red was held by Charlie Crist who ran for Governor instead of re-election. That might end up costing Dems the majority in the House

The opposing side generally always sees the opposing Presidents performance as a disaster. I cant believe you still believe in the fake polls. Much of the bad ratings for Biden are dissatisfied far leftists who dont like Biden because he is a moderate. Making abortion an issue and the far right candidates that won Rep nominations likely energized the Dem base to show up.

Your troll game has grown to bore me

That's weird that you say that as a response to one of the few posts of mine in this thread that isnt meant to troll you or your side. Do you think 57 and Goldy thought the Trump years were just amazing? Do you think the abortion ruling didnt motivate the Dems to come out to vote? Do you think Reps didnt nominate far right candidates that lost winnable elections?

Can you describe why you think the Biden admin has.been a huge success

Do you recall the one issue I care about the most by far? And when was the last Dem Presidency you didnt think was a disaster?

And you accuse me of trolling..... Biden made a historic move that will lead to legalization for the whole country. Its not as quickly done as I would have likes but it's still an huge win for me and all those who love freedom and hate big government.

since I was invoked and being late to the party - drinking bleach probably was a better idea than wearing a mask.

seriously, Cajun wasn't saying Biden was a success, just that polling includes those from the far left dissatisfied he hasn't done enough.
(Issues like climate abortion free money etc)
they are a signicant bloc of (D) voters.
Surprised they didn't have more of an impact, ala 2010.

as far as his successes, let's give it some time see the impact.
Remind me the casualties in
Afghanistan this past week!
My point being long game vs short game.
Only a year + out it looks totally different.
Almost forgotten

first glance " polling " being skewed by far left.
Similarly, the popularity of (R) policies in polling is skewed by MAGA

one more thought.
Screw (R) and (L) nationally and to this board that only now have the courage to feel free to buck Trump and MAGA " policies".

you are the true losers this past week..

And, you know who you are

Establishment plan working as designed.

Same people who said 18 was marred with lies (Russian collusion / Kavanaugh), 20 was obviously stolen, and 22 is a function of disgusting ballot harvesting are now saying it’s all trumps fault. But hey, maybe the the establishment gets together and agrees not to ballot harvest if desantis is the candidate. Would be just as dirty as Mitch not supporting candidates because they aren’t loyal to the establishment.

I hate that the media and establishment are so good at shaping narratives. Things looked grim many times over this journey. I’ll never jump off because it’s convenient.

[Tw]1591399698967166983[/tw]to paraphrase Sununu...fix the crazy then we can talk about policy

Odd nobody talks about fixing crazy that’s actually hurting the citizens of this country. That “crazy” is just fine.

Getting rid of the crazy isnt establishment. It's common sense.

As a former resident of Berkeley/Oakland I'm more familiar with the crazy left than most around here. I know some of them personally. Getting rid of/marginalizing the crazy is good advice for the Dems too.

It’ll never be a narrative driven endlessly by establishment sources and you know it.

It’s not a real demand because it’s it going to be levied evenly.

Calling out obvious election issues (still counting) is nothing compared to chopping off childrens genitals.

And the voters will suffer.

But hey the establishment is fine with spreading endless pies to achieve their WEF great reset goals. Just disappointed in many that are now succumbing to it.

Latest Gallup poll was overall approval 40% - broken down by party it was 4% rep, 39% independent, 85% democrat. So his numbers being dragged down by disappointed far leftists is a nice theory, but don’t look close to being the driving force.
