2022 Elections

Self-inflected voter suppression is a thang in GOP circles...including via deaths induced among their most loyal voters

I agree with this in that GOP voters don't typically go for legal cheating methods of voting like ballot collection. We were behind the left and they won the last two elections as a result (aside from all the illegal cheating and media coordination from the past few years).

Either way - We have learned the game and we will harvest ballots much better than the left to the point the left will regret installing these disgusting provisions.

The waters was a cover to give up other considerations to induce voting. Continue to pretend this is the same argument.

Machines coincidentally “went down” in heavier GOP areas during the heaviest GOP voting times. All from a county that contributes to PACs to “STOP MAGA”.

Even if I grant this to be true, the cover only works because people implicitly understood that there were lines long enough at certain polling locations where people might get thirsty waiting. Are you denying that there are polling places throughout the country that at times experience hour+ wait times to vote?

Apparently it’s all for nothing, as Kari Lake has assured Steve Bannon that she has a smoking gun that will win her a court case.

It’s a shame that Democrats and whatever this version of the Republican party this is (*points at a dead carcus*), will work hard and spend a lot of money to ensure that more Kari Lake’s are on the ballot in 2024.

Mary Peltola has defeated Sarah Palin and is the first

Democrat to represent Alaska in the House in 50 years.

In case you were wondering how the “red wave” went.

Shouldn't that read "Peltola defeats Palin (R) and Begich (R)"? There were 2 R on the ballot

Yeah, but it’s still the case that Republicans wound up with a candidate so unpopular that Begich voters apparently couldn’t even put her as their second choice. Alaska having a Dem win a state-wide race is rather noteworthy.

Kind of a moot point when there was ranked choice voting so Begich didnt split the R vote. All our elections should be this way so we get more options, but that would help third parties and we cant have that.
