Official official offseason thread

Dansby was always gone, I never thought he would resign once he wasnt extended already and there has been no recent convo.

The lack of talking about it is what gave me hope. I was hoping we got dansby back before Correa signed though. If dansby is last, someone will throw a stupid offer

Then you get the best LF you can get... probably in the benintendi, conforto, and Brantley group. Then either sign iglesias or andrus. Before I signed andrus though, I'd attempt to trade one of our AAA/MLB up down starters for Rosario of the Indians.

We have the money for that? Braves are saving close to 2 million with the Murphy trade.

Why do these guys keep getting 11+ years? Teams are dumb as hell. Dude will 41 lol

I guess $26m at 41 in 13 years won’t be that bad…

I’m fairly certain we just had a fckn strike last season and “competitive play” was the main reason…Players need to keep their mouths shut about owners now with how much money is being throw around.

Lower AAV for luxury tax purposes. I would have loved Correa but not for that many years with no opt outs, good for him getting paid though.

Dansby is left, i'll say Twins, Cubs. Cant see AA bid on him with how much money is being thrown out there. 6/140 as Hudson said honestly would be a steal but AA doesnt value him like that.
