Then I think Cleveland would like to keep him and win the division again.
They have 2 SS ready to go, supposedly

I think we are still in on Dansby and I think Dansby genuinely wants to come back. Of course it all depends on money but if he does come back somehow I expect a deal for Grissom at some point to bring back a young OF. Machado has said he’s gonna opt out so that’ll be another big bat on the market.
I really want him back
I can’t imagine trading our pitching depth with an unknown Soroka and 70 year old Morton. Plus strider will go down just like every other flame thrower every year.
I’m starting to think Dansby wants back and has told his agent to get as much he can from AA
What about 6-150?Dansby would have to take a very very deep discount to comeback. I doubt the 6/100 whatever is our best offer but he's getting way more than we'll offer, can we close the gap enough? No clue.

Idk, Rosario is projected to be a 3-win player

Thats probably close, i dont know if the feeling is mutual with the Braves and Dansby.
That’s been my thoughts as well but there has to be something keeping him from signing. I’m sure he’s had offers quite a bit stronger than ours. But something is keeping him from signing for whatever reason
Dansby just got married, thats what is holding up him signing. I'd expect Dansby to make a decision next week sometime. Front offices usually shutdown after Christmas so would think something before then. He's the last big FA left standing with Rodon to NYY.
