State legislatures in Alaska, Pennsylvania and Ohio have recently formed bipartisan coalitions to bypass extremists. Hopefully the house can get there.

How are they not playing by the rules? This is what democracy is.

Why is it destructive? And if it is, are the Dems not supporting McCarthy also destructive?

Why is it ugly? Because they are not rubber stamping a dictator?

Why is it an abomination of the system? Isn't it exactly how the system is supposed to be? There is nothing stopping democratic congresspeople from supporting McCarthy. Why are they above your scorn but a handful of GOP not?

I want the left running the show and I want strong top-down leadership by folks that know what they are doing. What I don't want is left-wing bomb-throwers in the mold of Greene, Gatez, and Bobbert. Those three and others are not there to represent anybody but to chase their own glory.
