Is it racist or is not racist to require an ID to participate in something?

Why would it be racist for things like voting, but not racist for things like flying?
An airline is in the bidness of making money. And money generally has no color (other than green).
Meanwhile back at the ranch, state and local election officials have a long sad history of setting all sort of barriers against black people voting. We've made a lot of progress in removing these barriers. Sadly vestiges of retrograde attitudes and policies remain. Even on these boards where the occasional poster will fantasize about disenfranchising "low information" voters just cuz he doesn't like how they vote.
Restaurants in the 60s were in the business of making money, but that did not stop them from discrimination against black customers.
Was that not racism?
I fail to see how a leftist can see the federal government mandating a real ID, but does not thing they are discriminating against black people
Speaking for myself I'm not at all see him spending time with his most important constituent
What do you mean that is not the question?
I am asking that question.
Your refusal to answer is baffling.
Zito appears to be claiming that something cannot be racist unless it violates a constitutional right.
So calling someone the N word would not be racist, since that is not violating someone's right to speech
Lol he's not the brightest fella
Why would it be racist for things like voting, but not racist for things like flying?
Wow what a hilarious false equivalency.
I didn't think you could go dumber, but you just equated something a person does with something the government does.
The stupid is extra strong here. You started out stupid at like American Lager levels, now you're running around Eisbock, pretty soon you'll be distilling stupid into a more pure form.
See this isn't the question either.
Let me ask you this, what does it take to fly? Describe to me flying right now.
Right now it takes a government issued ID... Either a license, passport, or maybe something else that I'm not aware of
You can simply answer the question any time you'd like.
It appears you don't think mandating am ID to fly is discriminating against black people. Is that accurate?
I didn’t think it could get worse than SpongeBob pictures but damn if this isn’t the most embarrassing thing I’ve read here
I would think of a witty retort to put you in your place but you're just a discount sturg anyway and no one really gives a **** about you anyway.
Here I'll just respond like you
"LOL"
Wait let's freeze there.
To fly it takes a government issued ID.
Now for about 180 years of American existance, no form of ID was required to vote until South Carolina introduced a voter ID law in 1950, for almost 200 years of the country's existence there were no photo ID voter laws in the books.
I think flying is a priveledge for those with means, not a right. Like voting. Yes. I've made that clear before when I talked of guaranteed constitutional protections. While you were ass grabbing around what you thought was a gotcha moment.
All they're doing now is requiring a different standard of photo ID. Guess what, you can still fly with a passport. Congrats. You completed the dumb circle you started and you're back where you started, being stupid and me still being right 2 days later.
So is requiring a photo id to participate in something racist or not?
This is an extremely simple question that I'm asking you directly
