GDT #6, 4/6/'14: Braves (Wood) @ Nationals (Jordan) 1:35 PM EST [The Dark Wood Rises]

No he isn't, I've watched him many games (mostly minor league games) and he saves runs at second in the long run. It's a small MLB sample but his DRS at second in the Majors is +1 (not in the negative at all). Uggla on the other hand has a bad DRS for his career and last year as bad as anyone.

Okay.

It is frustrating, but with just a little offense we could be 6-0 right now. Pitching has been phenomenal.

Games even out.

We probably should of lost the first game to the Nats, got lucky with some base running mistakes, and them leaving a ton of runners on base.

The game today and Friday kinda even out.

Pastornicky is a bad shortstop, about as bad as you'll see. He doesn't have the arm for short, etc. But second base fits him best of all positions (though I am glad they have him playing OF too).

I like Tyler, but it is too early to replace anyone, let alone someone who is hitting the ball hard.

Games don't really even out. That's just something people say.

I would settle with giving Pastornicky a few games this week. Then after that who ever is playing best plays more.

I would rather give Uggla the whole month and then kick his ass to the curb if he hasn't come around.

Too bad we couldn't finish the sweep, but I'll take 2 of 3 any day over these punks.

Heyward really needs to get it going. He has to come through in that situation.

The game we came back from 9-0 in the 6th inning to beat the Nationals in extras at their place in 2012 was a game we had no business winning.

At the end of the day we took two of three on the road. It means we won't have to sweep one later. Although Soriano was asking for it the way he was up in the zone in that inning.

We get it, you hate Uggla. There are others who are not even performing up to his non performing standards and then some you should be shouting at.

Move on.
