Because China and russia are making plans prior to the real fighting you idiot. Maybe you noticed some meetings recently? They’ll bring in more ally’s. Then Taiwan is invaded. And then the move further up the Eurasian land mass to take over more of Europe.

Crimea happened and there was little resistence internationally... other than some condemnation and some sanctions (an act of war in my opinion)

Trump knew the way to keep Putin at bay is to recognize the US prior aggressions and to feed Putin’s ego as a lasting Russian ruler by taking back some land.
You don’t understand how the world works. This is why trump prevented wars.Putin doesn’t want to take all of Ukraine. He doesn’t want Europe. That’s hard to do and he doesn’t have the military for it.
He wants to go down in Russian history as one of the great rulers who expanded the motherland.

When trump says he can end the war in 24 hours it’s because he knows exactly what Putin wants and what will allow outin to not only save face with his people but actually help his legacy long term in Russian lore.
