3/30 - OPENING DAY VS THE GNATS!

Game has officially hit the 3 hour mark…same average as last season’s game length average.

That was with it essentially being a bullpen game for both teams. If Fried stays in, game goes like 2:20 or so max.

Fried likely to IL per Snit. Looks like he'd miss Padres, Reds, and Royals. Call up Elder, Anderson or Soroka?

Dodd probably? I don't think he made the 26. Elder would be next guess.

Soroka still hasn't built up any endurance. He'd be no more useful than McHugh for 2-3 innings.

If Wright is okay once he's able to come back. Wright/Strider/Morton/Dodd/Schuster is doable with this offense/pen.

Wright is also a question mark IMO... shoulder issues also make me nervous... especially when the treatment is a cortisone shot.

Yeah, it’s early. I wouldn’t worry very much. If Max is out four-plus months then we’re in for some tough times replacing him but a few starts is fine. No ideal, but fine.

I just hate hamstring stuff... I feel like it always lingers

Left leg as well, which would be more troublesome for a LHP.

I thought Dodd had made the 26-man, but Chosen One is correct that he did not. He's probably the guy, but maybe they yo-yo Dodd and Elder (or Anderson).

Love the pitch clock, but I think it’s going to be pretty clear pretty quickly that the new pickoff rule is going to be a disaster. Stealing bases aren’t exciting when there’s no risk of being thrown out.
