GDT 4/2 : The Palm Sunday Debut of the Shuster!

Will say though, excited for an eventual rotation of Fried, Strider, Wright, Morton, Soroka. That rotation will f*ck

He might very well be good, and rant aside, how is our scouting department in 2020 drafting in the first round a pitcher that tops out at 91 with average secondary's? Just seems fairly obvious a guy that won't strike out people and does not throw the ball fast or with good movement would not be a 1st round pick.

At least when Wright struggled, I was like ok, this dude has some stuff

Shuster sat mid 90s for his four 2020 starts before the COVID shutdown. It was a bet on that stuff being the new normal for him. Definitely hasn’t been the case.

Nice bounce back after a tough first inning for the kid

I don’t think Shuster is some future ace—and I have higher hopes for Dodd longterm—but that first inning definitely looked like nerves to me.

This guy is not going to miss many bats. Doesn't mean he can't be successful but it doesn't help either
