Acuna is proving to be elite again both offensively and defensively, Olson is showing to be the player we were hoping to acquire, great defense from Murphy with a few caught stealing, Riley finding the power stroke, Arcia playing well.

Such a fun team to watch early. I know it won't last the whole season, but this team is super deep.

Mets surprisingly hit him/see him pretty well.

That was an impressive series. Sweep a legit team in their ballpark with the back end of the rotation, and none of the games was even in doubt. Great defense, great offensive approach. Really love the plate discipline so far.

One thing last year‘s team lacked during the great run were convincing road series against other playoff contenders. Great to see them start this year with an exclamation mark.

The bullpen does look mildly concerning. McHugh‘s stuff looks primed to get hammered unless the hitters expand their zone. Only Minter gives the impression that he can really overpower hitters. The others are decent arms, but no one I feel comfortable with against elite hitters.

If Fried and Wright can come back to being their versions from last season, we are going to be ahead in a lot of ballgames this season. I could definitely see AA upgrading the pen at the deadline and perhaps a backend starter as well if Soroka/Elder/Dodd/Schuster don't grab the spot by the horns.
