GDT: 04/05 Braves @ Cards

Wright has given up 5 ER through 3 IP tonight for Gwinnett....not ideal

I’ve watched most of it and he looks fine. Some bad defense and weakly hit singles in the four-run inning. The grand slam was absolutely hammered, but just a few other hard hit balls. Nothing crazy.

Good news is he’s at 76 pitches through five innings, so he should be ready to go for one of the Reds games early next week.

That's good. Didn't see any of the game, just the box score. But one thing is for sure, when a guy is on big league rehab, the team he is facing usually wants to be aggressive.

Wonder when we will get a peek at Hillard in LF??

Not sure but i'd love to see him get a chance. Blake Snell is on the mound tomorrow so we know it won't be then.

Acuna has run hard the first week of the season. I'd like to see him get a day off in RF and be the DH. Then you can put in Hilliard and Rosario vs a RHP

Wright is through six innings at 84 pitches. Would imagine he’s done now. Got stronger as the outing went on and struck out four of the last six he faced.

I listened to every highlight on the Cards feed and it was weird to experience Chip as the opposition.

Edmonds could hardly keep his pants on talking about RAJ.

In all fairness, it's a welcome change. For as long as I can remember while being forced to watch Cardinals' broadcasts, win or lose, their arrogance was nauseating. They were always God's gift to baseball while the Braves were privileged to share the same field with them. They couldn't go through a single game without driving home the points about their WS wins and their overall superiority. They also couldn't make it through nine innings without mentioning their dominance over the Braves in postseason and how Maddux and Glavine got unfair strike zones. It's nice to finally get some credit from them.

How was his velo and movement?
