GDT 4/9/23: Braves vs Padres - An Easter Treat

I said the braves were headed on a big time skid Friday night. I stand by it. Injuries, and they just don't look good anymore. They'll right the ship, but this is gonna be a rough 10 games imo

There's your ballgame to absolutely nobody's surprise after all of the rockets the Padres have been launching off this guy.

The fact we all calling ball game in the 3rd is as much an indictment of the offense as the pitching

Even without Fried, Wright, Harris, McHugh, Iggy and a few others, I expected a split at worst. This team is that good. Just a bad series!

*Yes, I know there’s lot of ball to go tonight but I’d be shocked.*

Oh, you must be the genius who expects Acuña to throw him out from his knees when he’s already rounding 2nd.

Umm he was not “rounding 2nd”. He would have been moving slowly or standing still waiting to see if the ball dropped.

Fact is Acuna thought it was a foul ball and didn’t get up to get it until someone yelled at him. He is the lowest baseball IQ player I can remember at the MLB level.

Pretty sure I woulda had my first absolute melt down of the season if albies dropped that, and he was close

He was standing on second and didn’t move until Acuna forgot he was playing a live baseball game. It’s not hard to see if you get Acuna’s prick out of your mouth for a second

Watch the replay. He was standing at 2nd once Acuña went to look for the ball. There’s no way Acuña was throwing him out at that point going to 3rd.
