GDT: 4/14 Braves @ Royals

Michael Harris is eligible to be activated on Monday, kind of weird we haven’t heard any update about him since they said he would’ve played through it if it was late in the season.

I imagine no news is good news with him. I think this was a chance to get some of these decision guys some ABs to make decisions moving forward.

I don’t think there’s really anything to report about MH2. And that’s a good thing.

Agreed. I’d just like to see Snitker say he’ll be good to go then. I guess that’s more of a beat writer problem than anything, expecting our awful crew of writers to ask important questions.

I mean, the AJC just had a quote on him yesterday. It’s about all you’re going to get out of them injury wise

Harris, who is dealing with a lower back strain, seems to be progressing well.

“They’re going to continue to treat him up,” Snitker said. “I think the biggest thing with Michael, they’re going to make sure there’s nothing there. They want it to not have any grabbing and catching and all that kind of stuff before they turn him loose.”

Harris is eligible to return April 17 in San Diego.

Fried, who is rehabbing a strained left hamstring, felt good Wednesday, a day after doing fielding drills.

D’Arnaud, who sustained a concussion, didn’t ramp up his activity Tuesday, as was previously expected. The Braves have been cautious with d’Arnaud, who has a history of concussions.

I expect Harris will either be back the 17th or the 21st. If he comes back the 21st he could stay back in Atlanta for a little extra treatment before the homestand vs the Astros.

I'm still of the mind that TDA is out for a while and when he returns he does so as the full time DH and 3rd C.

When we return to full strength things are shaping up to be

Acuña
Olson
Riley
Murphy
Harris
TDA
Grissom
Albies
Arcia

Rosario
Tromp
Hilliard
Pillar

Although by that point Rosario may be a possibility as a trade piece.

Is Harris currently getting any PAs anywhere? Or do folks expect him to step right in the box after sitting out for 2 weeks?
