Jansen was bad? What?
No, but it seemed like he was.
Compared to Minter he was damn prime Kimbrel.
Which reminds me, MINTER is ASS.
Good point.

Now the luck has changed. Everyone loves him suddenly? Luckily the Braves understand the analytics.
Minter needs to hit the DL and figure things out. I seriously think he's tipping his pitches. He's getting hit too hard for someone with that good of stuff.

Again, Minter is down a mph or two on his fastball. That makes a big difference for a strike out pitcher. There’s clearly something wrong with him physically. Maybe it’s injury, or maybe it’s just natural decline. But I really doubt it’s something like tipping pitches.
He’s down 0.5 mph from last year and is averaging the same velocity he had in 2021, which was his highest average since 2018 at the time. I think it’s more the .392 BABIP against.

According to Fangraphs, Minter has an option left. I don't see any reason not to send him to Gwinnett to figure things out.
good news. after a tough weekend, MLB just gave the Braves 2 wins today... before they even play.
wut?
Braves facing Cody Bradford tonight. This will be his mlb debut, and he's under 9 k9 in AAA. This will be a rough game for the braves. We always suck vs softy guys
But we also own lefties this year. Something’s gotta give.
Of course, soft-tossing lefty+MLB debut is a deadly combination.
