I feel bad the system was so against him. He did the best he could. But his best wasn't good enough to overcome it.

Now he's pushing 80 and appears much more unhinged than ever... dude has been very recently praising Newsom and Cuomo because he's scared of Meatball Ron Desantimonious

Yes and the difference is DeSantis vocally and frequently admitted he made a mistake a course corrected aggressively.

Has Trump admitted to making any mistakes re: covid? All I've see is his bragging about his vaccine.

Well there are many people who still believe that the vaccine helped at-risk people. I've made my position clear on that countless times.

Trump REPEATEDLY talked about not being afraid of the virus EARLY ON and that the cure can't be worse than the disease. People laughed at him for saying we should have opened up on Easter or that people should take HCQ. He also didn't assume power and let the states run as the constitution mandates.

So I'm not sure what Trump was supposed to do? He reacted as fast as possible to the virus and then his instincts told him it wasn't going to be a big deal but then the globalist order made sure that it was the death knell to his amazing presidency.

Yes - I'm sure RDS who closed beaches early on in the pandemic would have even did the things that Trump did early on.

Again, its not a knock on Desantis for doing those things. The climate at that time was unprecedented.

Since of course 'electability' was the big buzz word in Desantis world a few weeks ago (Until the polls killed that narrative).
