" You say either and I say either
You say neither and I say neither
Either, either, neither, neither
Let's call the whole thing off "

- George and Ira Gershwin

I don't understand why you so willingly remain ignorant

It's really weird.

You are wrong about books banned. No books were banned. But if you'd like to prove me wrong, please show your work

Remember when you mocked the idea that liberals weren't ba. Ing gas stoves? Have you come around to the fact that you were wrong on that?

Remember when you posted that Florida has killed it's tourism industry? Have you come around to the fact that you were wrong?

Remember when you blamed DeSantis for the Disney project collapsing? Have you come around to the fact that you were wrong?

I don't blame you for being wrong. You are old and stupid and your sources of information lie to you. That's not entirely your fault. But once proven wrong, your doubling down is baffling

I don't know how many conservative - including trump supporters - can watch this interview and not love everything RDS is saying.

He gets it and the competence is oozing out of him. He is out best chance to actually get this **** done

He's young, energetic, and an extremely talented public speaker. Basically everything that Trump and Biden are not.

This tweet perfectly encapsulates my thoughts.

RDS is coming to the table with actual policy solutions and a fight back strategy. Trump just isn't competent enough to figure this stuff out

Going to ignore his robust policy videos he has been releasing for a year?

Trump was the best policy president we have had in decades so this argument that he couldn't figure it out is well...dishonest.

He needs to show his intentions.

You know political platforms and such. Not all this generally negative rhetoric. Its childish.

Well on the issue of the post you responded to...

What did Trump do policy wise to combat the rising indoctrination infusion of higher education?

We choose to focus on what we want to focus on. I know the results Trump can deliver even in the face of a global insurrection against him and his policy set.

The noise in the background means almost nothing to me.

Thats been my position from the beginning.

If someone comes along and has his policy prescriptions (which includes economics and foreign policy) then I'm fine to find a 'better' candidate.

Right now that person doesn't exist.

Its not that hard to google man - Its like you forgot the whole Trump presidency.

He is hte FIRST prominent politician to bring these issues up. Before it was 'taboo' for the R's to talk about these issues. We were supposed ot just lose the culture war with 'grace'.

Did they take away their tax exemptions?

He made it politically palatable to take the step for the next generation of GOP politicians. But when you don't have electoral consequences in front of you (RDS in Florida) then its easier to have a more aggressive agenda.

Since I know you say 'electability' is the most important thing.

But if you want to keep pretending that we would be here in the fight without Trump completely resetting the conversation then so be it.

I'm not pretending anything. Trump did change the conversation. Good for him.

I want to move on from conversations to results. You posted a threat from trump that he didn't execute on. Same has locking up Hilary. Same as his wall. And on and on

Trump is bluster. RDS is results. I want results. Because the college education system is more woke today than it was in 2016. It's time for an actual fighter who lands some blows for once

BTW - From a politico article:

Despite Trump’s complaints, the IRS also says the “advocacy of a particular position or viewpoint” can still qualify as educational for tax purposes “if there is a sufficiently full and fair exposition of pertinent facts to permit an individual or the public to form an independent opinion or conclusion.”

There isn't even clarity a president has that power which is unfortunate.
