Trump Indictment Watch

which is the crime?

1. removing the classified documents and taking them to your private residence

or

2. Not returning them when asked for them

I was unaware that I could rob a bank as long as I promise to return the cash if I get caught

As far as I am aware all documents in question were taken while the person was President or VP which is not illegal. No Pres or VP is going to be prosecuted for having classified documents they at one time had a legal right to have around. You are just ignoring the context that everyone but Trump returned the documents when they found them after a search. Trump wouldnt be under criminal investigation if he acted in good faith like Biden and Pence. Its curious you say you dont support Trump but you try so very hard to ignore context to defend him. Personally I would be fine if Trump, Biden, Hillary and Pence were put in the darkest hole and never saw daylight again. I am just explaining to you the reality of the situation which I know well beforehand you wont accept because you are playing for a team rather than being honest.

Trial date has been set for March in 2024 in NY for Trump. Thought we know Trump will try to find a reason to delay. So who knows. That doesnt bode well for having his impending charges in other jurisdictions settled before the general election.

Judge issued a protective order in the NY case barring Trump from attacking witnesses publicly. As I said before he might have the right to remain silent..... but he doesnt have the ability. Starting the over/under at 7 days before he violates the order. No doubt the right will attack the Judge for even slapping him on the wrist if.... I mean when he violates it.

Trump held rehearsals for hiding documents, aka obstructing justice, at Mar A Lago and had regular employees participate who witnessed the crimes and the criminal intent right out in the open.

He's a real genius alright.

If you asked a prosecutor what's the most damming evidence he could have in a case like this Trump has done/given like 4 of the top 5 most incriminating things possible. The only way it could be worse if he outright admitted he stole it and was intending to sell to China. I will wait for an indictmentbut I am getting real close to predicting this will finally be the downfall of the Teflon Don. If I was Biden I would be baiting Republicans into allowing charges to be brought agains5 a sitting President because we all know they will flip on that if Trump wins in 2024.

Steve Bannon also set for trial in NY on wirefraud charges. Trump pardoned him for federal charges but because some of the people Bannon defrauded were in NY he can be prosecuted at the state level. Hope he likes prison food.

Here is a good analysis of all this document stuff for those of you who are purposely trying to distort the issue.

I noticed that article doesn't talk about the powers that the president has. Here they are by court ruling. Mind you these have never been appealed.

"Under the statutory scheme established by the PRA, the decision to segregate personal materials from Presidential records is made by the President, during the President's term and in his sole discretion,"

"Since the President is completely entrusted with the management and even the disposal of Presidential records during his time in office, it would be difficult for this Court to conclude that Congress intended that he would have less authority to do what he pleases with what he considers to be his personal records,"

" A decision to challenge a president's decision lies solely with the National Archives and can't be reviewed by a court. If the Archives wants to challenge a decision, that agency and the attorney general can initiate an enforcement mechanism under the law, but it is a civil procedure and has no criminal penalty, "

You see the part where it says if NARA and the president have a disagreement they take it to court? Not sic the FBI on him and raid his personal residence.

Another important snippet:

"Judge Jackson ruled that the tapes belonged to Mr. Clinton, even though the discussions included a broad range of presidential matters. The court ruled that the National Archives and Records Administration had no power to “seize control of them” because Mr. Clinton had used his authority under the Presidential Records Act to declare the recordings part of his personal records."

This is all established in court. This is what Trump and his lawyers have been saying. It's right there in black and white. However, the media you read never tells you that part or how the FBI is completely ignoring legal precedent.

Cool, I absolve him of all sin regarding NARA. None of the potential charges have anything to do with the Presidential Records Act. I look forward to his "I declassified them by thinking about them and decided they are now my records" defense. I am sure it will go over real well.

You still can't figure out this is all lawfare, can you? Just like the FBI misconduct during Russian Collusion it's staring you right in your face but you're too brainwashed to see it.

NARA in the Clinton case said Clinton declassified the tapes by taking them home, just like Trump did.

No you just don’t understand he is using your bias against you in a game of 8d chess. He’s the smartest person in the room.

I don't know why you are so mad at me. It's like you know your arguments BS and Trumps going to lose in court like he always does. You can deny reality all you want. Doesn't change it.

I am playing checkers while you people are ****ting in your hand and throwing feces around. As usual I will sit back and wait to be proven right like I almost always am and await the plethora of excuses you people make for being wrong.

Best way to be right is take the opposite stance Garmel is taking. So at this point I officially predict Trump is going to prison barring shenanigans like pardons or the case not being finished and he wins in 2024.

Isn't Garmel predicting very poorly chosen one is convicted of everything cuz the system is rigged and unfair?

I didn't say he's not going to prison. I'm saying this is all BS but you really aren't smart enough to figure that part out or just too doped up to understand anything. Most of us know what we're seeing is lawfare.

If DeSantis gets in he will probably pardon Trump because he's not a moron and sees this nonsense for what it is.
