Mike Pence is going to have a CNN townhall with Iowa Republican voters. I sure hope he runs. I am going to place the over/under on votes he gets in Iowa primary at 500. Best thing to come out of the Trump admin is turning Sessions, Pence, Bolton, Cheny and Barr from hated by 55% of the population to to 99.8% of the population. All that time sycophanting for Trump and it means nothing after failing to do one thing that would have been overturned by the courts. I will enjoy the beatdown Pence gets in the race.
 
Kind of like voter suppression, unless there is a specific bill titled " Voter Suppression"
there are those that will claim it doesn't exist.

Kind of like insurrection, unless there was a pitched gun battle in the rotunda of the capital
there are those the will claim, it wasn't an insurrection

They won't call it a ban. Yet not only has my book been moved,

but now elementary schoolers must request a copy from a specialist

at its new site AND then also PROVE their reading level before

seeing a copy.

All these hurdles for a young reader just to access a poem in history written for them.

, history is not ours to hoard from children. History has always been theirs to make.

And the more they're empowered to know our yesterdays,

the more prepared they will be to lead us into tomorrow.

are not those "hurdles" implements of not only a ban but , voter suppression ?

Have you finally understood that there was no ban?

The only thing that has been banned is gas stoves in New York
 
I wrote a joke book about weddings 10 years ago... I'm appalled that all 50 states HAVE BANNED MY BOOK FROM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LIBRARIES

I'm ashamed of this country!!

certain from where I sit should "hurdles" be put in place for purchase of say
weapons they will be characterized as a "ban"

As time moves on it becomes clearer and clearer you never learned to read above 5th grade level
where things like metaphors, similes etc were explained.

Given the dangers associated with gas stoves, you may want to consider swapping yours out if you have one. While the government won’t be forcing you to do so, it will incentivize you to exchange your stove for an electric one. The Inflation Reduction Act, signed into law by the Biden Administration last year, allows for rebates of up to $840 for the purchase of a new electric stove and up to an additional $500 for the cost of converting your setup from a gas one to an electric one.

Whether or not that particular word is used, in order to read the poem in a school a child faces legal barrier after legal barrier.
Legal barriers. Hmmm. What other word could we use?

There are no legal barriers to owning a gas stove

1. He's too old and senile and forgot what his stance was last week (something I know nsacpi and 57 can empathize with)

or

2. He has seen the polling of how unpopular Disney is with republicans, and is now reversing course
