Soroka’s a back end starter. Stuff is but nothing to get excited about. Command is pretty bad. That could get better over time. But he’s a different pitcher. The old Soroka is dead.

You think? I think the late night and cross country flight are the biggest factor here. That not respecting the opponent is high school crap.
 
It would be one thing if the Braves were playing well lately and just had a hiccup. They aren’t. It’s concerning.
 
Rosario needs to be embarrassed by his reaction during his last AB. The ump has been inconsistent, but those pitches he was sulking about were actually strikes.

You've made that assessment after one start since returning after being out of the game after three years?
 
One of the major things that helped Mike was his HR suppression.

Shoulda been two today.

Changing the repertoire could negatively affect that big time

Soroka's command will determine how much success he has. But 92's and 93's at the top of the zone are gonna get hammered by good hitting teams.
