GDT 6/2/23: Braves @ Snakes - Showdown in the desert

I picked a hell of a time to go see a road game. I'm sure strider will walk 5 tomorrow, and the braves will score 1 on 2 hits

Eddie !

- Hey Mississippi - go grab a Coors Light quick before they cut the sales off !
And send us a picture

Harris will be fine.

He will not be fine…It has to be said man…he’s trash! The book is out on him and he’s got ZERO idea how to adjust…he’s not hurt…The league has got the best of him and he can’t figure out the balance. It’s going to be an awful contract and you know it is.

Harris is walking more and striking out less. Nothing in his statcast data raises alarm, his launch angle is actually significantly better. He's had absolutely miserable luck. That's a big part of it.

3 for his last 42 with 17 Ks

I hope so, but I do wonder what you base it on. His expected stats are better than his actual, but his expected stats suck.

Based on the fact that he’s only 22… he didn’t have a complete spring and was out a long time with injuries so the start of his season was out of whack. We see players struggle in those situations all the time. Not to mention he just hit the hardest hit ball of his career just a couple games ago. He may end the year looking like a sophomore slump a bit but in the long run he will be fine.

He played in 18 games with 48 AB this spring. That's same as Olson and Riley. Doesn't appear he missed any ST
