Should be noted. We won a game against the front runner for NL CY on Sunday. Braves still have the best record, biggest lead, and highest run differential in the NL despite playing mediocre ball for close to a month.

Plus losing and still w/o Max and Wright.

Had injuries to other key guys as well.

The team is very good. I just want us to win the division and get the roster as best as we can for the playoffs. We may not win the division but I think we are a playoff team w/o losing more pitching or Acuna.

I would also like to see the fielding improve. We are better than this. We can argue about Riley but other guys need to step it up. Especially our 1B who everyone said was a stud before coming to our team.

Strider is the front runner.
 
Per the boys on the radio, temp at 80 something now, will drop 20 degrees by first pitch.

Read somewhere that Elder would be walking away with ROY if he had pitched four less innings last year.

Strider is Cy Young.

As for team performance, we have played about as bad as possibly could for the last month and are the best team in the NL. As everything comes together - and it looks like it’s starting to, we are going to walk away with this division and get well rested for October.
We can take a big step towards that end this week by breaking the Mets. They sweep us, the lead is down to 2.5 games and they are oozing with confidence. We sweep them and they are down 8.5 games and facing a brutal schedule running out to the all star break.
I’d prefer the later.

Welp... good one zb... looked like storms were done developing on the back side but then they started up again. Just a stationary boundary right there where storms keep popping up... should be diminishing here soon.
 
Boy Snit wasn’t very positive on Soroka. I mean he wasn’t down on him but maybe it was just Snit not loving pressers
 
K... there's not much reason for a delay anymore. One more weak shower that could be there in an hour but its weakening and should continue to weaken.
 
Are we trying pull a Nationals here? The delay was likely for lightning in the vicinity... but there's pretty much zero lightning in this stuff anymore and it likely won't even make it to the park. This is stupid.
