GAME DAY THREAD: 6/18- Colorado Rockies at Atlanta Braves

That INFURIATES me. Nothing- I mean nothing - drives me more insane than that level of moronic decision making. 7 out of ten times you are going to make an out right there. At best. At least. Odds are against you.

Now, that said, 100 out of 100 times, that dude is gonna walk that run in. And the bases will still be loaded and then you can swing away at the next pitcher.

That’s the difference in 10 and 15 runs. Luckily I don’t think we will need more than ten.
But PLEASE use the red light. It is your friend.

Just read from Bowman that Charlie Culberson's dad was scheduled to throw out the first pitch today.

I'm no fan of Culberson, but that's brutal.

Riley has had the two worst at-bats of the day.

I’m not even mad at Riley. That’s like getting mad a drunk for getting a dui when you didn’t take their keys away.

DAMMIT.
I would love for someone to explain to me why I’m a being an idiot here - I really would. I know there’s a whole lot about baseball that I don’t understand- like why the F Ozzie bats left handed (and now, I’m like “oh- that’s why”) - so I’m sure there’s sound LOGIC here. So somebody please enlighten me. I’m all ears here.
End of rant:

NO - MORE RANT !!And NOW OLSON HITS a DOUBLE that would have CLEARED the BASES.
That decision cost us FOUR runs.
If he only did this every now and then I’d be fine with it- but he green lights more than anyone in history.
It is BEYOND STUPID.
I’m pissed.

Did Glav say a word that inning?

They probably had to mute his microphone because of the profanity he was spewing about how stupid Snitker was letting Riley swing when the pitcher had thrown 11 straight balls well out of the strike zone with the bases loaded and two outs and down by three runs.

Nice catch !

Love watching guys beat the shift. I wish batters could become so good at it that they didn’t have to have shift rules.

Good pitch Charlie. Good job.

Now go back to the dugout and kick the first bald dude you see right in the nuts.
