I think the Marlins have a very bright future, but they aren’t even remotely close to Atlanta right now. The Braves have essentially ascended into the Dodgers’ long-held role of being the NL’s darlings.

I am a little disappointed. I understand the concerns, but I think the league leader in homers should be in it. And I think it would be cool to have a Braves player in there that actually has a chance to win it. I am a little more into the all star stuff than others I think.

Hell, put Riley in there. Maybe it will fix his swing.

IMO it's not a good format for him. Olson's HRs tend to be moonshots and with it being timed, there would be wasted time waiting for the ball to land.

I may be incorrect in thinking that the ball has to land before the next pitch can be thrown.
 
Friday's game against the Rays has been picked up by Apple TV+

Saturday's game against Tampa has been a FOX scheduled game for awhile.

Who knows what the future holds. But it's pretty fun to dream on the future and having this good young hitting core locked up together for at least 4 years after this one. That's assuming both of Ozzie's team options are picked up.
 
I was away for much of the weekend and didnt get to see any of the games, but wow what a dismantling of the fish. This team is just incredible right now. Ive never seen anything like it. I mean, we arent just beating up on bad teams - two of these teams were searing hot and we beat them anyway. I thought the Rays start was unreal, but this run might be even better.
 
Bad strider just throws it down the middle and hopes his stuff wins.

Good slider is on the outer third of the zone.

Really bad strider seems to be when he realized he is bad strider and he slows down the velocity trying to control it better.
