Kemp and Youngkin seem to have made the smart choice of staying out of the roller derby. They could end up in the veep sweepstakes. More likely I think they are anticipating a debacle in 2024 and positioning themselves to pick up the pieces in the aftermath.

if you are a one issue voter, then I could see why Trump would be your preference... but his campaigning for Lindsey Graham is a super weird move

I'm a multiple issue voter but foreign policy (which includes trade/immigration) is by far #1.

And yes, continuing to stick with Graham is a stupid ****ing move but i have to accept stupid for someone that has been the most transformational politician in a 100 years.

I think what has become apparent to me is Trump will align with anyone who is nice to him... Including Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, Speaker McCarthy, Lindsey Graham, and Gavin Newsome

This is why I've lost confidence

I understand - I believe Trump is more complex than (People nice to me equals I like you). Not saying I like the end result or his process but I believe there is more at play which includes building a coalition that can actually get something done in DC.

Any candidate you've heard of through the media is a candidate that is not for the people. They purposely present us with candidates that do not give a rats @$$ about the American people.

We all know this, yet we continue to vote them into office and allow them to take advantage of us.

Hoping we will one day learn from our mistakes before my time is up.
