But you the proceeded to pin “25%” inflation in it did you not?
of course i did.
the CARES Act is the biggest driver of the inflation we have today
But you the proceeded to pin “25%” inflation in it did you not?
inflation lags can be years
of course i did.
the CARES Act is the biggest driver of the inflation we have today
Not subsequent stimulus and energy policy driving up oil costs? That’s what you’re going with?
Why use December 2019 oil prices? Why not show where oil prices went since the CARES act and who was producing tbe oil which explains why oil prices exploded (Arguably biggest driver of real inflation and not bogus [as you’ve noted many times] one that is released as the index)
there are a lot of factors... printing $2.2T to light on fire is the biggest.
If trump spent so much as president why was inflation tame under his presidency?
And yet inflation didn’t really spike until a dramatic change of energy policy and subsequent needless stimulus to go along with domestic policies preventing people from working.
It’s like you don’t think I can find countless posts where you blame Biden for inflation.
because you frequently highlight how great the economy was in 2019... and i wanted to highlight that oil prices at those prices were not driving inflation at that time
Oh I blame Biden a lot...
but if you look hard enough you'll find me blaming Trump too in real time
Of course not because the economy was roaring and with MOAR JOBS American had more money to spend. So demand matched supply therefore limited inflation.
So when aggregate demand plummeted at start of Covid it was essential to stimulate the economy or else collapse was imminent. I’m sorry you don’t understand basic concepts.
Inflation is a lagging indicator... we were going to see an increase in inflation no matter what... but the CARES Act set it in turbo mode and Biden has picked up right where Trump left off
printing money and giving it to people who produce nothing with is probably the worst economic concept i can imagine.
Oh there was some (small piece) assigned to trump. But that somehow morphed into it was solely trumps fault and I’m trying to reconcile that with you now.
Do you want me to find endless posts of you saying the inflation is Biden’s fault?
let me slow it down for you goldy style
1. The CARES Act cost Trump the election - and was a major driver of today's inflation
2. Because the CARES Act got Biden into office... he has extended the insane spending which has accelerated inflation
If the CARES Act never happened, Trump would be in office and (hopefully) that additional insane spending never would have happened (but he probably would have anyways)
I’m aware you push chamber of commerce ideas.
What would you have happen to people with no savings and lost their jobs in March of 2020?
So we went from sole driver to now to a major driver. Can you give me a percentage allocation?
Not told them they were not essential and shut down their business
i see you've imagined something again
