2024 Field

Ok - So your next argument, now that we've moved past this last one on attribution of the CARES Act to current inflation levels, is that Trump is solely responsible for these working class families losing their livelihood all of a sudden overnight?

Trump is the leader. He made the decision.

He is responsible.

Just one more question - Lets make the argument that Trump was outwardly forceful for no lockdowns and didn't create the task force early on.

Its May 1 2020 and the increase of daily deaths around the world is expanding at an alarming rate and the fear is spread into high populated areas like India and Africa has not happened yet. How does the world respond and what does that do to Global Demand?

The people get to decide that. Not a group of 'intellectuals' making decisions for the everyday person.

When the world sees the USA not cowering like little bitches ans life moved on, the rest of the world would have followed suit.

The world needed a strong leader and unfortunately the best we could offer was someone who deferred to what he was told to do

Ok - So what would have happened when Newsome and Cuomo shut down Cali/NY?

Should he have sent in the army to keep the states open?

Do you think Marcon would have opened up France if Trump told him to? What about Boris Johnson over in the UK?

How would that conversation have gone?

Its impressive that Trump is such a dominating figure that he could have stopped all of this had he just said NO!

Nope. Their citizens can demand change, leave, or live with the actions of their elected officials

Didn't realize how much of a big government nanny state you yearn for

So because they are weak I have to accept we be weak too?

Why the **** would I care if Macron didn't follow suit

But wait - If the state shuts down then you are saying the people should suffer and die? Did the citizens of those state vote in the previous election hwo they wanted their candidates to respond to a once in a generation event? Maybe they should have put COVID on the ballot in 2017-2019. Probably Trumps fault right?

My favorite part of this exercise is you contorting yourself with endless hypotheticals and scare stories to justify lockdowns

You are like Trump. Weak. Bent over when they told him too.

If California's government decided that that would be the only state where the citizens wouldn't be allowed to work, then I'd advise those citizens to move to Florida and Texas (which is what they did when California's government decided they wouldn't let their citizens work)

So those things would not have happened if Trump was vociferously against lockdowns? Which is odd because he was critcized my mostly everyone for saying he wanted to open up early.

What I'm trying to express to you is that you are incapable of understanding the current situation on hands with your idiotic comments like "Trump fired those men"

There are dozens of these... I'll spare you. But trump has owned the decision to shut down. He believes he was right to do so. He believes it was his call.

Trump is responsible

Yes - You're right. NY/Cali/Il and a host of other states would be open if not for Trump. The whole world would be open if not for Trump. Global demand would not have been impacted if not for Trump.

Glad I could help point out your current insanity levels.

You have a funny way of reconciling these two positions

1. Trump is the only person who can make a difference

2. Trump has no ability to influence others or overcome his opposition

Oh I certainly think (1) but I disagree with (2). Trump has an uncanny ability to curry favor among powerful people. Still wouldn't have made a difference with a direct plan to shutdown as a partial political tool and the fact we have a constitution.

Wait, maybe Trump should have not respected the constitution which you gave him kudos for on countless occasions?

It seems everything that actually mattered, Trump was helpless in your eyes
