Well when squishy republicans say "These are serious allegations and must be looked into" while knowing about the Biden corruption then its kind of hard to do anything since you aren't a king.

So the question is why did republicans go along with the initial story at first?

That's not much different than the Trump regime protecting MBS after he had Kashoggi murdered and gave his dumbest son in law 2 Billion when he got out of office. We can both infer corruption from are but it's hard to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Same thing with this Biden ****. You can infer corruption all day long. In fact do you know Jack Smoth had a corruption conviction overturned because the Surprwmw Court ruled setting up a meeting for money wasn't corruption/illegal.

It will eventually go from "there's nothing there" to "what Joe Biden did wasn't illegal". That's true for some of this but things like getting money from that Russian woman looks to be bribery.

Wut? I require enough proof to get a conviction. There wasnt in Trump Sr's case. It was very close in Don Jr's case to atleast an indictment. Mueller said he didnt charge Don Jr because he couldnt prove he knew taking a meeting with Russians promising dirt on Hillary was illegal. I have never said theres enough to convict the Teflon Don on Russian collusion. I think theres a whole lot of smoke and circumstantial evidence. He publicly asked for help from Russia. His son attended meetings with Russians promising dirt on his opponent. He might as well have been Putin's PR guy. Bitched and moaned about and delayed sanctions against Russia. Acted like he was scared of Putin the whole Presidency. That is not in any way shape or form enough to convict or indict though. Much the same way we can imply a whole lot from Hunter's actions but politicians kids using their parents name to get benefits is hardly a rare thing. You have to prove Joe was in on what Hunter was doing and no one has shown any evidence of that. Only when you leave out context can you make your arguments.
