Kyle Wright is set to make his first rehab start for Rome on Thursday and Chavez threw today. If Jesse’s next session goes well, he’ll begin a rehab appearance. I also saw where Nick Anderson has been throwing.
 
AA will have some very interesting decisions to make. Has to be scary to just DFA someone with guys coming back off the 60 day DL.. You have no idea how they will perform.. and with shoulders, it could easily flair up again. Cheerios/Yate/Collin are the 3 obivious ones... those 3 plus the 1 extra pitcher you can have in Sept. But if one or 2 of those can't perform as expected, then you are SOL..

Heller, Williams, and Wall are the likely DFA casualties. The cabbage has been chewed multiple times, but this is why some of us thought the Smith-Shawver promotion to the 40-man could be a problem when it comes to roster manipulation later on in the season. I don't know if one has to re-instate from the 60-day IL in order to DFA, but Adrianza and Allard would be two more guys who could be let go to free up additional space.

I think we have room on the 40... by my count is 37 spots taken.. including IL folks not on the 60 days... So you can add them to the 40 but will have to DFA someone from the 26 man when they are ready to come back to the big club. If all 4 come back, then yes, the fat will have to be trimmed.

There are many varying degrees of jorts wearing to determine your demographic in this country (at least for men anyways). But the main ones are as follows:

If you wear jorts with white New Balances and tube socks, and with a tucked-in collar shirt, you're probably just the average boomer. Redneck rating: None - very little

If you wear any combination of jorts with boots, wife beater/air brushed T-Shirt, and gas station sunglasses, then it's likely you visit Gatlinburg, TN, Branson, MO, or Panama City Beach at least once a year, and you probably talk about your local high school football team way too much. Redneck rating: Medium-Heavy

And finally if you are a guy and your jorts are cut off.... well you have probably dated a not so distant relative at some point in your life. Redneck Rating: Extreme
