Lost in all of this is the fact that Mike Freakin’ Soroka is pitching tonight. I fully expect him to mow St. Louis down like an ex wife’s rose garden.
And if/when Mike does this…. Then what?
He gets another start on sunday

that’s the thing - his command isn’t any good. And he doesn’t have the pure sink to be wildly effective. This is who he is unless he figures it out in the offseason.
