No. The injury took him down while on the major league roster so he has to go on the major league DL.

Maybe Soroka is playing 4d chess and using this to not get screwed out of a year of service time. Either way no one should ever expect him to contribute again. If he does thats a nice bonus but we are in Charlie Brown trying to kick the football territory with him at this point.

yeah, I think this was his last shot. maybe something was wrong and is why he was so bad this year, but I think he is just bad this year and proabably the rest of his time pitching.

In case anyone was wondering. Chirinos was transfered to the 60-day IL. While unlikely, he's the person that would likely be replaced by Waldrep should the Braves add him to the playoff roster.

Highly unlikely that would be the case. A corresponding waver claim was made and Chavez Anderson and Wright all still need to be reinstated from the 60 day IL.
