Of course he’s being sarcastic, lol. Reading the Phillies comments on Twitter was pretty hilarious. They are dumber than I thought. Which is saying something

Phillies fans are convinced they got to Strider last year in the playoffs, and think his poor game has nothing to do with him being hurt and dipping to 94 in the second inning. Yes they’re dumb

AA is possibly the best GM in sports. Sure, there's been a good bit of luck with guys working out (the hit rate on top hitting prospects is crazy), but a lot of that luck is actually good process yielding good results.

Great article. But I think as you've astutely pointed out in the past. It all looks good until some of these players who received extensions start tanking. Then it may require a rebuild.

At some point AA will almost certainly be faced with the decision to trade the back end of a few of these contracts while they still have value to kick start a rebuild. For example, the Strider, Olson and Riley deals may have negative value while the Albies, Harris and Acuna deals have positive value.

How he navigates those decisions will determine whether the rebuild takes 2-3 years or 5-10 years.

Are you hinting to AA maybe trading Acuna. Would AA have the balls to do that.. no thank you on that decision..
