Even I am guilty of sometimes buying into the spring training stories, but Dodd and Shuster go down as the poster child of don't ever read into spring training results for unproven players.

Based off their performance and metrics, you'd have been convinced we had two legit number threes for the rotation. Honest to God, it felt fairly obvious in watching them both literally just once, that they just don't have "it" ... just not big league caliber starters

I frankly wouldn't have minded making today a bullpen game simulating a potential game three
