GDT: Braves @ Phillies Game 3: No Mentum Like Momentum

I'm still just beyond shocked. In a 1-1 game already in the 3rd inning with our entire pen fresh - a two time MVP at the plate - and Elder who everyone knew had no business starting this game

How does he get left in? and then the solution to the homer is to let him give up two baserunners and then pull him? and bring in our worst reliever? This one is going to take multiple posts to get over

I'm not a believer in October choking narratives, but what's going on with the offense right now is also just comically bad. Like really bad. Like last year the offense wasn't great, but I didn't think we got bitched either. This though is now 3 straight games of looking uniquely bad at the plate. Like really, really bad across the board.

Completely agreed. This is fireable IMO. Whatever benefit he brings does not outweigh single-handedly throwing away a critical playoff game.

In our WS run, AA made the decisions. It was obvious when we pulled Wilson after 5 no hit innings.

Because they're the better team when it comes down to it and the brightest lights are on. Strider won't make it out of the third tomorrow.

Nah. Were are just sluggish after hardly playing for 2 weeks. The time off including the extra rest day between game one and game 2 is a total joke.

Snit shouldn’t be allowed to make another decision the rest of the postseason. Which is about a game and a half.

Turn this one off, gents

If the Braves can’t win two games in a row with Strider and Fried and the best offense of all time, then we didn’t really have a chance anyways
