I think the most likely explanation is he has been careless in filing his paperwork. And will have to make some amendments. That would be embarrassing but really not that big of a deal.

But as I said there might be something nefarious going on. We'll find out soon enough.

It would be a good reform to require members of Congress to release their tax records.

And I just want to point out that I support people using Covenant Eyes or living by whatever religious standard they believe in. I just have a problem when they try to use the law to force it on others. I see a lot of "Democrats attack Mike Johnson for being Christian" **** in conservative media. I view it the same way as if Muslims tried to make it illegal for women to not wear a hijab. I am okay with Parents forcing it on their young kids as well if thats how they want to raise them but at some age, say around 15, I think kids should have to consent to it. There are parents out there who try and enforce **** like "no masturbating" on their teenage kids. Thats about as realistic as making a "no pooping" rule for teenagers.
