I'll be honest, other than a few of our higher profile prospects, this year was tough to watch. Middling is what I'd call 70% of the guys I watched this year. Of course I knew going in, it was going to be a "down" year for the system although there are always standouts. To me, McCabe is mildly interesting.You're welcome. It's my homage to rico43.
Not a lot to look at in the AFL. I think Vines and Dodd are simply there for innings, so performance is secondary (though not ignored). Wilson is working his way back. McSteen and Halligan are head-scratchers to me.
I think Ogans has helped himself. Braves have drafted a lot of college MIFs (Waddell, Conley, Exposito, Ogans, and the since-traded Durbin). Add Quintero to the mix as well. They are probably trying to develop a utility guy. Ogans hasn't ripped things up, but he has built on a decent High-A season. Neither McCabe and Tolve has done that much. Like some of the pitchers, I think Tolve is making up for some lost time in 2023 due to injury.
