January 6th insurrection thread...

And why did they lie?

Why were there endless lies?

“You’ve been lied to that US soldiers fought in WWII!

They just played baseball!”

So cute - Lets see what percentage of the 40K hours worth of footage shows just this.

And what percentage of the 'violence' were masked informants.

All the lies are crumbling down.

Then of course we could move to Covid where RDS pushed the vaccine for kids (post trump presidency) or how he did his usual PR stunts and televised giving the vax to an elderly man on live tv who died shortly there after.

“Real time judgement!”

I give Trump credit for reassessing his J6 stance but Trump is still stuck with the notion the vaccines are great. RDS went with what info we had at the time but he opened Florida back up when Trump kept telling him not to do it and he knows about the vaccines where Trump doesn't. It doesn't take being an RDS sycophant to figure this out.

My position remains unchanged. I think the vaccine was great for those that needed it. Trump has always been against mandates and that was always the biggest issue with the Covid response.

You aren’t and you should always know my commentary is not directed at RDS supporters like you. I think some are honest about their judgements while others are going through early mid life crisis.

But to answer your question just look a few posts above. It literally just happened.

Again... is there anything more cowardly and pathetic than making comme ts intended for me while not engaging directly?

Man up. Stop being a little bitch

There was no vaccine during the Trump presidency for him to mandate.

But he did mandate toddlers be masked!

Ah I still we are in the mode of using comments on January sixth and comparing to how people react a year or more later. Typical trash we see from RDS sycophants.

Same nonsense with Covid. Course corrections need not be discussed.

Real time judgement!!!

Trump made his comments. Indistinguishable from Liz Cheney

He made his comments because the media put pressure on him. He always folded like a little bitch when things got tough

He didn't pardon his supporters because it would have looked bad in the media. That was always his number 1 concern

America first? Hahahaha. Loyalty??? Give me a break.

Dude would send you to prison if it meant he'd get an extra hour at his next Mara Lago party

The gas lighting is like nothing I've ever seen.

This is what convinced me it's an actual quote.

They live in a fantasy land. They think what they are told to think. They are literally listless vessels

The horror!

9/11 and Pearl Harbor to the 10th power!

"Regarding the Jan 6th events:

It was a heinous attack on the United States Capitol. Like all Americans, I was outraged by the violence, lawlessness, and mayhem.

They should have immediately deployed the National Guard and federal law enforcement to secure the building and expel the intruders.

America is and must always be a nation of law and order. The demonstrators who infiltrated the Capitol defiled the seat of American democracy.

To those who engaged in the acts of violence and destruction do not represent our country.

And those who broke the law, will pay"

- Donald Trump

It is one of the Civil War amendments. But like the rest of the constitution it is written in a way that allows its application to future events. I suspect this issue will work its way to the Supreme Court fairly quickly.

There is some irony in the fact that the authors of the article I linked to in my opening post are conservative constitutional law professors (members of the Federalist Society) who analyze the matter from an originalist perspective. It is ironic but not surprising. In general conservative judges (some appointed by very poorly chosen one) have been steadfast in their application of constitutional principles in response to litigation that has arisen from the events surrounding the 2020 elections. The appeals court panel that ruled in the Cawthorn case was unanimous and included a trump-appointed judge.

From where I sit the only thang likely to save the gop/maga from their own folly is the supreme court finding that the 14th amendment's disqualification clause applies...short of that very poorly chosen one will get nominated (even with multiple convictions) and go down in the general election

Well, that won't happen. Even the left wing judges around the country thought it was ridiculous. Good to see dumbass legal scholars like Laurence Tribe have to eat ****.

They are desperate. They can’t steal elections like they used to and they don’t control Twitter like they used to. This and fake campaigns are the last salvo. Neither are working as more and more everyday Americans support populism.

Can anyone explain what is meant by "fake campaign" ??

I see the phrase used a lot but no idea what it means. Hope it's not another case of mental impotence

Do you believe no more elections will be stolen? And when was the last one so we can track the changes in results

Yup but let’s take a trump quote from January 6th, while ignoring almost an identical quote from RDS, and pretend that he has horrible judgement.

It’s such a joke that I love watching the train wreck in real time.

But why didn't Trunp pardon them on Jan 19?

Btw, many of the capital police have lied about their injuries that happened on Jan 6th.

J6 was what I said it was in early 2021. An intelligence operation to prevent true inspection into the 2020 election steal.

Is there any new footage that is changing anybody mind?

Everyone who isn't completely retarded already knows what happened and why it happened. A trap set for MAGA that they walked right into, and now using to against the GOP for years to come.

It was one of the most peaceful protests since covid
