Johnson has been Speaker for how long now? What things were you expecting to happen in this short of time? The one thing he has done is release all of the J6 tapes which is something McCarthy wouldn't have done. Let's give him some time before we judge him.

A few years before that, Blue dog Dem Heath Shuler was repping my home district and didn't like the hard left turn the party was taking. He challenged Pelosi for Speaker. And lost. And retired.

I don't understand why any Republican would want to be in a position of power. No matter how much they suck up to Trump and MAGA they just end up hating them for not meeting their crazy demands. Sessions, Barr, Wray, Moscow Mitch, McCarthy, Esper, etc. Just a matter of time before they turn on Johnson. Why would any sane person want the job?
