And if Eli were hitting anywhere close to the way he did throughout his career, that might be a relevant statistic. It's cute that you think 2021 has more predictive value than the most recent two months of regular playing time.
I could do an exhaustive lyrics researched paper on why I'm right and you're wrong, but I'm too lazy and tired. I just want to see the real Braves energized by Snit's favorite Latin player. Ronnie hit straight ball far
So Pierce my Johnson leaves them loaded, Dylan Lee gives up a couple lasers and the game, your closers ERA is a robust 5.59 and that's your idea of a great pen? Ok
Eli White is OPSing .596 against lefties and .814 against righties. Pivetta is a righty. I wonder if Snit looked that up before telling his best hitting outfielder to grab some bench.
While Snit may be demonstrably retarded and may have brain plaques all over the place, nobody can overcome a shit bullpen, a shittier bench and a whole bunch of well-paid formerly good hitters who stopped hitting. Our GM finished about 29th in the GM rankings this offseason.
I think Snit may be retarded like everybody else, but my deepest disappointment is with our GM. He had a lot of work to do this offseason and he didn't do it. The one guy he did bring in is an outfielder with very poor defensive metrics who's gonna slug about .380 without hCg on board. And...
I just can't believe it. You've got two unexpected guys who are going, a chance to keep building momentum with them, and you pick a dead guy off the waiver wire and put him in the lineup.
1. What kind of ****ing idiot plays him;
2. What kind of ****ing idiot picks him up?
