Verdugo needs to be Verdogome...he was never going to be the answer.. I would rather live and die with Eli Cracker and just take the superior defense with is black hole bat than slow, lifeless Verdogone.
this year it is how it works SquawNot how it works chief

That's how it's worked for 2 and a half months?this year it is how it works Squaw
Vegas knows Snit gonna be cut soon.Somehow, the Braves still have the 9th best odds to win WS.
@msstate7 gonna be cut if the Braves keep playing like this.Vegas knows Snit gonna be cut soon.
Damn cuz... the rest of us out workingI’m gonna cut some industrial sized lines of pure uncut medical grade Peruvian flake cocaine.
Yeah but those projections still have Strider as an ace among other thingsSomehow, the Braves still have the 9th best odds to win WS.
What amuses me was all the people saying Acuna wouldn't be a good hitter this year because he wasn't a good hitter the last time he came back from knee surgery. His performance that year was more mental than anything. Dude is a top talent in the game and is going to hit most of the time he's on the field.Acuña on a 10.1 WAR per 162 pace.
Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself, but here's Ronald's stats his first month back in 2022...What amuses me was all the people saying Acuna wouldn't be a good hitter this year because he wasn't a good hitter the last time he came back from knee surgery. Yeah, it was foolish to think a guy coming back from his 2nd major knee surgery might not be great when he wasn't great coming back from his first knee surgery. What amuses me was all the people saying Acuna wouldn't be a good hitter this year because he wasn't a good hitter the last time he came back from knee surgery. He's been great, and hasn't stolen a single base. How can that possibly be the case? How can a player possibly be impactful without trying to steal meaningless bases?Acuña on a 10.1 WAR per 162 pace.
His defense is rating better than it has since before his first ACL injury. Small sample, but still a positive development. He's been great, and hasn't stolen a single base. How can that possibly be the case? How can a player possibly be impactful without trying to steal meaningless bases?
