TLHLIM

Yeah. Some of it im not bothered by and some of it not acceptable.

Thankfully the GOP isn't burdened by mentally ill radicals who's entire purpose is to destroy the system

This article isn’t really meant as more than a quick compilation of some recent events that include mass shootings and violence similarly inspired by rhetoric. Claiming America is being invaded is just as aggressive as saying Trump is trying to become a king. Democrats seem to have a greater share of going after public figures in recent years, but violence toward non-public figures to take their country back or whatever is just as impactful.

Andrew Sullivan has coined the term Christianism for the political ideology that promotes worldly power and separation of people from one another, not actual discipleship with Jesus. It is a useful concept and helps draw the distinction between Christians (those who humbly try to walk in Jesus' footsteps) and Christianists (those who pervert his teachings in an attempt to exert power over others).

Let's not forget that this includes strenuous attempts by Trump and Vance to convince Americans that dark-skinned immigrants were eating their cats and dogs. A cooly crafted slander designed to dehumanize an entire group of people.

I agree both parties are guilty of dangerous rhetoric but it's more irresponsible of dems to do it as their base is fully of mentally ill people who hate America
