If we play at .500 or below up until the deadline then AA should sell but he won't bc attendance will go down and the owners will be pissed. He's in a tough spot but teams like the Mets will be buying up everything they can while we don't have many pieces that can help us when we have so many holes. This team as of right now how they've played the past year is a .500 team and that's not making the playoffs unfortunately
 
If AA does add it won't be anybody that puts us over the tax imo. Bc if he did that would make the already bad offseason look even worse.
 
If the Braves were going to make a real move in the standings, it should’ve been over the past two weeks when both the Mets and Phillies had losing stretches that would even make the 2025 Braves blush.
 
Luckily over the next week the Mets and Phillies have a harder schedule than we do. These next 3 series are huge to see if we are gonna be legit buyers or just fringe guys. Any move AA makes should be for someone controlled for next year too.

Why pay the deadline premium? Just wait till the offseason. Drastic changes at that point
 
The illusion is real: 3-10 on Sundays. Also, 3-9 on Wednesdays.

Their record in day games is better than I had assumed: 11-17. Still not good.

Bc less teams will be in on players right now versus the offseason. Maybe the O's part with Bautista now when they wouldn't in the offseason. AA shouldn't overpay for anything at this point so waiting till the offseason would be the best strategy.
