Minor League Thread Part Deux

If Nacho can hit enough he could be a backup next year. We have to find out what we have at some point might as well be now.

If Nacho can be a top tier defender at 3B start him there. Riley can DH or LF. He cant help but be better defensively in LF than Profar.

4th outfielder needs to be able to play CF. Unless you have a utility player that can do it.
Yeah you don't want him in CF so like you said you'd have to have somebody that could play all over on the bench also bc as of now that type of person probably wouldn't see the field much with Snit in charge.

Tornes is working on becoming a complete hitter and it's altered his S/O ratio a little bit. He's being more patient, but it's at the expense of some aggression which is not a bad thing. He's got speed to burn and can drive the ball. DO NOT take his not hitting HR's for not having power. I disdain the hitting philosophy in the minors, but his minor tweaks will pay off even more as he matures. He'll go O'fer and the next game apply what he's learning and hit bombs. I like him a great deal.

As for Perdomo, his adjustments will not show now that he's hit a skid that's been brutal. But write him off at your own peril. He's a good hitter. When he was more aggressive, he was hitting missiles. But that came with swinging at every single pitch. I didn't mind that aggression, but that profile would get exposed at higher levels. There's been a great influx of talent from the draft, but Perdomo, Tornes and even Guanipa aren't just cast aways. They need to play. They have either been injured or never played. They will be knocked in "rankings," but when has that mattered to the Braves? Ha.
