People dont understand this team. Buxton would be fully healthy if we traded for him and win the MVP. Then slip in the shower and miss the playoffs.

He's always been able to draw a walk and he can play every OF position. I figured at worst he could be the 26th man on the roster. I mean did we really think we were gonna get significantly better production from to the other trash we've ran out in recent years (Fairchild, Duvall, Wall, Rosario, etc)?

The guy just fell off the earth after having a really solid season with the Rays in 2018 with 3.5 bWAR, but that was pretty much it for him, although he stole 46 bases the next year with the Mariners. Great speed.

Eh, this feels like a nothing burger. Are we really going to believe a real estate investor when they call someone else a scam artist?

Then again, I guess they’d know better than anybody.

Still, if stuff like this keeps stacking it’s going to be hard not take a hard look at Ohtani and wonder.
 
Not only does that suck, but it’s scary too. He had a real shot at finally winning the Cy this year even though Skenes may have been a slight favorite. Terrible luck.
